Had a nice lunch on a beautiful day.
I was off at 9:00pm. It was too early to go home so I decided to head to the arcade that was across from Crown Casino. This arcade was huge! It had up-to-date games as well. I felt like only playing gun games.
There was a new one that I've
never played before. Actually, there was a lot of games that I've never played
before since there hasn't been an arcade in Calgary for the longest time. I think the last time there was a huge arcade in Calgary was the Cinescape theatre at Eau Claire.
I played Elevator Action: Death Parade.
It was pretty cool. If you're ever in an elevator and the doors close, there
are mechanical doors in front of the screen that would close along with it.
Then you could look up to a smaller screen and decide if you want to go up or
down. The story line and gameplay was pretty much a resident evil/house of the
dead style. There was a another game called 2 Spicy where there were 2 petals on the floor. It controlled where your character would run to. It was a one on one gun battle. You would hide behind pillars, tables, chairs (depending on which environment you were in) and then you could press the left petal and your character would run left while you could shoot at your enemy across the room whom was also running left and right while shooting back. Neat concept, but I didn't like how it was only one on one. It should be a play through like Time crisis.
