Day 147 - February 16

Hung out at home today. My housemate Nick came home after his last shift of work. He was flying back home to New Zealand the next morning. He said that his work didn't have a gathering or parting gift for him. Having worked there for so many years he was a little disappointed.

Nick went out for drinks with some of his friends. When he came back later that night, I had bought him a farewell chocolate cake. The three of us, including Cait, sat and chatted for a bit while having the yummy dessert. Cait didn't like chocolate cake though, so she had beers instead.
